Weekend wrap up

What a great weekend it has been. So sad it is Monday already. 

Friday after work I went to my Moms to pick up Will and he was sleeping so we ended up spending most of the evening there. We went to a place in town to have fish and shrimp. It was delish!

Saturday we meet my mom at Kohls and did a little spring/summer shopping for Will. I also got a great deal in the head shoulders knees and toes dog for Easter. Regular price is 32.99 got it for 13. Saturday evening we headed to have movie night at Daddy's work. We had so much fun visiting the firehouse and seeing Daddy.

Sunday we took a trip to Sainte Geneive Missouri and it was so much fun. We rode the ferry enjoyed some wine and good food. 

 

Sunday evening we are dinner at Nicks dads house and we had one crabby baby who hadn't napped. He finally napped on me and then we headed home. 

Transitioning to the crib

I am having such a hard time letting William go. I really am ready I think I just don't want it to happen. It's not necessary because he still fits into his RNP but I want him to use his room. 

I think it will be hard I will miss him but I kinda think it's necessary. I always feel like I need to be in my room with him as the monitor is in his room. This also means the lights have to be off so nothing can be done in our bedroom after 730. 

I have mixes feelings about it. I'm ready but I don't want him to be big. I need help!

He naps in his crib and does really well but I will miss being able to look at him. I am also really nervous not hearing him. I am also worried about being able to fall back asleep with walking across the hall. 

I know whatever we decide will be best for us all but I keep telling myself as long as he still fits he can sleep in my room. 

Weekend update

Well it was nice to be off work it was a slow weekend. The hubby worked all weekend so it was just William and I. 

Saturday we played took a nap played some more ate and went to bed literally lol! 

I did start a new workout routine that I hope will continue! William thought I was funny! 

Sunday we got up early are breakfast and went to church with my parents

I enjoyed some coffe before church while he played! 

Church outfit was so freaking cute on him!

William took a four hour nap and I napped and worked out! Two days in a row! 

Jillian kicked my butt! I am sore!

Sorry it's a boring post! Nice weekend with my boy! 

William 4 months

Well he is almost five months but I wanted to make sure to write down his milestones. 

We are so blessed to have you as our son! You are funny, handsome, adorable, cute and amazing! We are so lucky to have a healthy happy baby! You light up our world more than you know! 

Likes: 

You love to play in your jumper. Your feet finally reach the floor.

You started cereal this month and you weren't sure at first but you love it now! 

You love a blanket and you love it over your face. 

You sleep great a home but don't sleep when you visit Nonnie one day a week.

You have recently started fighting your sleep even though your exhausted! 

You love looking at your feet and hands! Last night you actually put your toes in your mouth!!!

You try to sit up any chance you get and if I hold your feet you can get all the way up!  

You love to babble and mimic Mommy! 

 

At your four month appointment you were 14 lbs even and 25.5 inches long! You can barely fit in 3 month clothes. 3-6 fit best and 6 you will grow into soon! 

You are hardly ever fussy unless your hungry or tired. You love to go for a walk and you always fall asleep. We are ready for warm weather with lots of walks. 

 

You are my sunshine my only sunshine you make me happy.... You are my love my son my whole world! I'll love you forever I'll like you for always as long as I'm living my baby you'll be!!!

Pinterest dinner

I had pinned this pasta receipe and new I had all the ingredients and needed dinner fast! So pasta is what's for dinner. 

These days I don't have all the time in the world to prepare make and cook dinner. I'd much rather have quick and easy dinners so I can spend more time with my boys. 

This receipe was simple easy and delish! 

I didn't cook it for as long because I had the oven preheated for awhile. So good and easy to make.

My finished product! Some garlic bread and some wine and you are set! 

Spring fever

The last two days have been amazing to say the least! We have had 75-80 degree weather! Ahhhh can we just thank The Lord for that. 

Well.... Today it's rainy/snowy mix 😒 yes my angry face! I was so ready to put away my winter sweaters and boots. I really don't mind cold weather but we have had soooooooo much! 

The kids at work have had cabin fever for to long and it was so nice to take them outside and they loved it! We played tag, we flew kites and we played on the playground! 

Finally getting to wash all the salt and snow off your car. 

I have been able to take William out three times since he has been born so he didn't know what to think of this thing we call SUN 🌞. We really enjoyed our stroller walk and look forward to nicer weather sooner rather than later.

Starting solids

The doctor gave us the ok if we wanted to start solids with William. We are very excited to start this journey with William. I am also very excited to make baby food but I am also nervous on where to start. We will start with rice cereal then orange vegetables and then green vegetables and then fruit. At least that's what the doctor suggested.

We have a nice ninja blender that hope will do great in making baby food. Where do I start? What should I start with? How should I keep it? 

Anyone with advice it would be appreciated! 

Weekend wrap up

What a great weekend we had as a family! 

Friday after work we spent some time playing with William and we headed out for trivia night with my family. We did awesome and had such a great time! We won second place and received our money back. I sure did miss our little man though! I received a few pictures while we were out.

Sometimes throughout the night you just got bags full of Jell-O shots. Love that my uncle took a picture with us!

Gotta love the hubby

Saturday we we're suppose to do Mardi Gras but we didn't want to leave our little man so early since we didn't see him the night before. Kinda lazy Saturday morning didn't get out of bed till 9 good job William! 

We went to my grandmas and met my mom and Dad and niece help pick up sticks from her house.

She really appreciated all the help!

After grandmas we headed to the grocery store and then met a Nicks mom at Fast Eddies! 

Love me some fast Eddies!!! Great Food and drinks! Hadn't been there in so long and it was so nice to get out!

After Fast Eddies we played a few games at out house and just hung out!

William played as well!

Sunday we had some bad weather so we stayed home did some laundry, cleaned the office and straightened William's room. Then we watched the Oscars and went to bed. 

What a great weekend full of family, fun & favorites!! See what I did there! Hehe
