Life at the moment

Life at the moment has been amazing! We are getting ready to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary! ( yes 1 year already) I can't believe it! Do you have any suggestions on something to do?

Work at the moment... Kids at the moment know the end is in sight. My little preschoolers are so very good! They are starting to get a little crazy! I am so sad about my kiddos I've had for two years for them to graduate! It will be bitter sweet!

Family at the moment..... I literally have an amazing family. I am so in love with my little niece and can't wait for more nieces or nephews! I also love my two sisters and my two sister in laws. I'm so lucky to have a great brother and a pretty cool brother in law.


Baby at the moment... Feels like Tuesday I just popped out! I'm so anxious for our appointment next week and can't wait to see if baby Davis is a boy or a girl. I have mixed feelings on what I think the baby is. I think girl and Nick thinks boy. We will see soon. Can't believe I'm almost sixteen weeks it will go by so quickly.

Rainy Tuesday

Baby update:

Things are going really well for me during this pregnancy. I have been blessed with no morning sickness! Hallelujah!

I am so tired but I have begun getting some energy back. I am anxiously awaiting my next appointment but more importantly then that I am looking forward to finding out the sex of the baby. Either way I will be so thrilled but I cant wait to just buy a few things.

Lately my allergies have been a mess.... I still take my allergy meds but crap I want to rip my eyes out!

My baby is almost 16 weeks and growing by leaps and bounds I woke up this morning and I feel like my belly just popped out!



Week at a glance:

This weekend I become the a godparent for the first time. I am so excited to be Harpers godparent and so honored. I can not wait!

This weekend is going to fly by. I have to work Friday night and Saturday during the day at Busch Stadium. I will be one tired momma. ( Weird to say that)

I am so jealous of all these people going on vacation and getting tan. I want to go on vacation.

I made beef stroganoff last night and let me tell you it was delicious. I am so sick of eating the same ole same ole all the time. I need new recipes .

Baby update 14 weeks

I am so anxious to know whether you are a boy or girl. I had been feeling like this baby was a girl but I have been having second thoughts.( I am going to be so excited either way )

I am so excited to pick out furniture and design your room. We still have to clear out some stuff but Daddy will be starting that soon. Your Dad has been so cute during the pregnancy. He has been so excited and so good about taking care of your Mommy!

Your Aunts and Uncles and grandparents are so excited for you to be here! You will be one loved baby! Your Aunt Maggie is so excited to buy you things once we find out boy/girl.

We were lucky to get to see you again at our 12 week appointment. You wouldn't cooperate with the doppler so we had to do an ultrasound :) . You were do cute and have grown so much! You even put on a show for your Daddy and me! You stretched and waved and moved all over.

Morning sickness:
So far I have been so lucky and have had none!!

When we told my sister we told her over Face Time. While we were talking to Harper our niece we asked her if she was ready to have a new cousin?
My sister couldn't believe it she said what are you serious?

Then we both cried about it... she was so excited to become an Aunt!


Then we went to Nick's moms house and we decided we would put a sign on his sister Hillarys dog that said  I'm going to be a cousin.

These are not the best pictures but it was all we could get out of the dog.

His sister got it right away after we put it on him and she cried and hugged us both.

His mom wasn't there yet but we waited till she came home and she didn't get it. She gave Hillary a hard time about getting another animal and how she isn't allowed to get anymore.

Then after a few minutes she finally got it!

We were so excited to finally tell everyone!

The bottle of wine has a story behind it. I received an amazing wine rack with wine in it. Each wine had a certain label to tell you when to drink it.

Well as soon as I put that bottle of wine on the table my mom lost it. She was so excited she screamed. My Dad just kept saying Thank You and how awesome is this. They are so very excited to be grandparents for the second time.

Then we went and told Nick's Dad and I think he was in complete shock that is boy was having a baby of his own.

We're having a baby!

February 9, 2013 was Mardi Gras and we had full intentions of enjoying every bit of what Mardi Gras has to offer. Well... that morning I took a pregnancy test and our day/life changed completely.

its very hard to see the faint line but it is there!!! This was the moment I started to cry with joyful tears. 

Then we waited two days to take another and we were able to get a little bighter pink line.

Then on February 13 we got the bright pink line we had been waiting for.... what a perfect Valentine's Day present.

This is the card we made for Nick. I cant believe this is actually happening. 

So on February 13, 2013 we found out we will be parents for the first time and we couldn't be more excited! 

I have been wanting to be a Mommy for so long and I am so grateful to have found an amazing husband and best friend to share my life with. I am even more excited to be bringing our first child to the world and he or she will be so loved.
