Our family of three

It's so crazy to think at this time two weeks ago our sweet William was born! 

I can't even imagine life without him which is so weird considering we have only had him for two weeks!

Things have been crazy with visitors and adjusting to life with a newborn but things are finally settling down. William of course is perfect and doing great! 

Mom on the other hand was sick the last few days but I am doing so much better now. Although our Halloween sucked because it rained and I was miserable we still had our annual party and everyone came and had a great time! 

We are so blessed to have a healthy happy baby! Thankfully Mommy and Daddy are even able to get some sleep throughout the night! Thank you Will!!!

Everyday he seems to grow and change! It makes me sad to think how fast he will grow! 

We are not looking forward to Daddy going back to work in a few days but we will make it through!

Month One

One month check up today ...

So, how can this be that my little booger butt is one month old!  The time has gone by so quickly. 

William, 

You are an amazing baby. I am thankful for you everyday. I still can't believe we made you and carried you in my belly for almost 42 weeks. Everyday your dad and I talked about what kind of man you would be, what color eyes would you have, what color hair would you have and what would you decide to be when you grow up. We now know the answers to a few of those questions. You have beautiful blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair. We can't wait to see how much more we learn about you! 

The first week adjusting to life at home with you was hard. Feeding you was a job in itself and hormones were all over the place. Once everything got adjusted we were golden. Your daddy was amazing while Mommy was recovering and taking it easy while I breast feed you. He was great at learning how to take care of you. You have been such a good baby. Your first week we had to wake you to eat . Silly parents never wake a sleeping baby! Now you go 5-7 hours without waking up. Mommy and Daddy are so grateful for the sleep. You are such a content baby. You can play by yourself or snuggle with whoever is holding you. You eat like a wild man every two hours throughout the day. You love to lay on someone chest on your belly and lift your head up. You love music and car rides. 

I can't wait to see you grow up and getting bigger to learn all the fun things about you. You are my whole world and I can't even imagine life without you! You are my everything and I love you more than you know! 

Your first day

William is one week old

Today I am one week old! I can't believe our baby has been with is a week already! We are so blessed to have a healthy and happy baby boy! 

We took our first outing today to get a few things. Of course he slept the whole trip. It was nice to get out of the house but when we were done Mom was sore and was ready to go home. 

Milestones

I like to eat! Mom feeds me every two to three hours during the day and about every four hours during the night. 

I was born 7lbs 4 oz on Tuesday October 22 and on Friday Oct 25 I weighed 6 lbs 13 oz when I went back to the doctor on Mobday October 28 I weighed 7lbs 6 oz. I am healthy! 

I am very alert for a newborn. I like to be alert in the morning and later in the evening. 

I like to be cuddled with and kissed on! 

Sometimes I smile due to gas but it is so cute!
