32 WEEKS

I cant believe only 8 more weeks till we met our little man!!!
 8 weeks and today 52 more days till his due date!

On Monday we go to the doctor to get our 34 week ultrasound and let me tell you it will have been 14 weeks since we have seen our little man!!! I can not tell you how excited this makes me feel!!!
I can't wait to see those 10 little toes and 10 little fingers and that cute chubby face.

I have been trying to get some things done in the house and it just seems I can't do as much as I want to when I want to. I know I know I'm eight months pregnant I cant just clean and go and go all day. I am so use to that its hard to adjust.


I have been noticing its harder for me to sleep during the night again. Don't get me wrong its not like I am up for hours throughout the night its just hard to get comfortable. I miss sleeping on my belly.

This past week all I have wanted to do is shop for non maternity clothes. With Fall coming its all I can think about when I am out and about with my mom and sisters. I don't see me fitting into them till after Christmas.... BOO .

I have noticed recently that all of a sudden I get emotional either something really bothers me or I feel bad about something or I miss someone. Its just crazy how quickly it comes on and how strong it is. I don't feel I have been a crazy rollercoaster of emotions during this pregnancy except at the beginning
(my husband may beg to differ) but these feelings are over whelming.

It eases my mind to read other pregnant women's blogs and to know that I am not alone in this!

To my little man:

I love having you safe inside my belly but I am so anxious to meet you. I know I wont be saying this when you are here and I miss all the hard kicks or the foot in my ribs.

I can't wait to see what you look like or who you favor more.

Your Daddy loves it now if he touches my belly or puts his head on it you kick him or move around he just thinks this is the coolest thing ever.

I am so excited that your room is almost done and organized and let me say its just tooooo cute!

I am so in love with you its crazy! Your not even here but you are still my little guy! I am so anxious to hold you and kiss your cute little face.

Thank you for being so nice to your Mommy for the last 8 months it has made my pregnancy enjoyable and special.

I am so lucky to call you my son!

Baby baby baby

So I haven't updated in awhile but last weekend we had our baby shower for our little man! 

We are so incredibly blessed to have amazing friends and family that love us and our little guy so much!  I'll try to update this week with baby shower recap!

This past week has been all about the nursery! Trying to get everything organized and arranged the way we want.

I'm so grateful that I have a crib and a room and all the necessary baby stuff for our little man to come. We still have 8 weeks but makes me feel better knowing if he came early we would be ok. 

Lately I have been feeling blah. I don't know if its just because the bigger I get the more emotional I get, or if its just lack of motivation. I am in a funk of having to start school back up and having a whole new set of preschoolers. Or, might be I'm not sure where I will be or when I can get in my classroom! Yikes! I'm just trying to breathe and not stress. 

I honestly hate this feeling because I have nothing to complain about! I am still having an easy pregnancy, I have a loving family and husband and I have a great job. I am so excited to meet our little guy! 

I think we have decided on a name!!!

28 weeks to 30 weeks! I'm beginning to pop out more and more!!! 

Vacation recap

Vacation was amazing!!! One whole week on the beach who could complain!

It was a nice baby moon and get away before I go back to work!

Let me tell you it was a long long long drive for this pregnant woman. Especially when the car was packed. Lets just say we weren't happy campers on the drive or when we got there. We were tired!

The first night Nick and I took a walk on the beach and enjoyed the sand between our toes.

We had a lot of nights like this!

Many of our days were spent by the beach and then later by the pool.

One day Nick and I went and explored the town and we found a state park and we had a lot of fun.
During this time we saw a swamp. We also saw an exhibit with alligators and we saw ships and boats, tons of fish and birds.

We had decided before we left that we all would go and do some deep sea fishing. I was pretty excited about this. I had never had motion sickness or anything like that so I thought we'll I should be able to do this! NOT!!!!

The ride home with seven adults was ridiculous! Glad to be home!
